(Newser) – Investment powerhouse Goldman Sachs has been the subject of menacing letters sent to newspapers across the country, prompting an investigation by the FBI. "Hundreds will die,"  warn the  letters that have been traced back to Queens, New York. "We are inside. You cannot stop us."

The letters are cryptically signed "A.Q., U.S.A.", and one has been sent as recently as June 27 to the Star Ledger of Newark, NJ. Goldman is based in New York, but also has office buildings in London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and other cities, including a 44-story tower in Jersey City that holds 3,000 employees.
