(Newser) – The largest audience in 14 years tuned in to Saturday Night Live to watch Sarah Palin come face-to-face with doppleganger Tina Fey, reports AP. Actually, it wasn't quite face-to-face as Fey skirted past the candidate after skewering her yet again at a faux press conference on the comedy show. The audience was estimated to be close to 14 million, a level it hasn't reach since 1994, when assaulted skater Nancy Kerrigan was guest host.

"I would do that again in a heartbeat," Palin said later, though she skipped the after-party with the cast. "It was the most welcoming and friendly environment that you could imagine. You have to have a sense of humor through all of this. Otherwise, it would really grind on you and wear you out."
