Sarah Palin plans to let a higher power guide her to higher office, she told Fox News last night. The governor wouldn't commit to a White House run in 2012 in her first post-campaign TV interview—but said she has always prayed for God to "show me where the open door is"—and will "plow through it" the instant she spots it. "Putting my life in my creator's hands—this is what I always do," she said.

"Even if it's cracked up a little bit, maybe I'll plow right on through that and maybe prematurely plow through it, but don't let me miss an open door in '12 or four years later," Palin added. "It would be very exciting to serve in a greater capacity." The Alaska governor also repeated her denial of campaign stories that cast doubt on her record, character and intelligence, blaming the wilder ones on bloggers "sittin' in their parents' basement, wearin' their pajamas."
