Lively Not Really That Gossipy

Gossip Girl star waxes poetic on her career, clothes, co-stars

(Newser) – Blake Lively might be the "hottest senior ever to roam the halls" of hit show Gossip Girl, but the 21-year-old is a far cry from the "boozy party girl she plays on TV," writes Dana Wood in W. "I don't really like to go out," says the "borderline geeky" Lively, who does share her character's passion for fashion. "I have, like, 60 gorgeous bags."

Still mum about the her purported romance with co-star Penn Badgley, who plays her ex on the show, Lively insists that rumors of frosty relations with "arch-frenemy" Leighton Meester are pure fiction. "I guess it's just not interesting to say 'everyone gets along; everyone works 18-hour days and goes home to sleep," she muses.
