Fox Pundit: Media Bashed Palin for Not Aborting Trig

Political analyst Michael Barone was booed by a crowd of academics after saying the media hated Sarah Palin for not aborting Trig, Politico reports."The liberal media attacked Sarah Palin because she did not abort her Down syndrome baby," the US News & World Report writer said, prompting some audience members to walk out. "They wanted her to kill that child."

"I'm talking about my media colleagues with whom I've worked for 35 years,” Barone told the audience at the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges meeting. Barone later apologized for his remarks, saying he had been humorously trying to focus attention on the media's hostility to Palin but had crossed the line.
