(Newser) – Left-hander Cliff Lee, who had to compete just to get on the Cleveland Indians’ regular-season roster, became the team’s second consecutive American League Cy Young Award winner today, easily outdistancing Toronto’s Roy Halladay, MLB.com reports. Lee led the league with a 22 wins and a 2.54 ERA; he follows CC Sabathia (since traded to Milwaukee) in bringing the hardware to Cleveland.
