(Newser) – Angelina Jolie tells the BBC she is ready to “fade away” from the celebrity scene and gradually give up acting to focus on her six kids. The actress hasn't worked in a year, and apart from a short stint in February, she plans to wait at least another year before taking on a big project. "So maybe it will be once a year and then maybe it will be once every three years, and then just naturally—I like being home a lot these days."

She adds: "I'm ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day."
