Chuck Norris: Prop. 8 Foes Wreaking 'Anarchy'

Protesters need to accept that California voted against them, actor argues

(Newser) – Opponents of California's gay marriage ban need to learn how democracy works, Chuck Norris argues at TownHall.com. Post-election Proposition 8 protesters are attacking churches for backing the ban and threatening boycotts, Norris writes, when they should be accepting the majority vote of their fellow Californians. "Like it or not, it's the law now," the actor writes. "The people have spoken."

If democracy doesn't tip our direction, we don't swing to anarchy. That would be like the Wild West, the resurrection of which seems to be happening in these post-election protests. - Chuck Norris

In the new America, the change-we-hoped-for America, voters express their wishes and courts overrule.

Chuck Norris has a poor memory, loss of intellect, and is just plain weak in spirit; What about the story of the " Lone Ranger"? Chuck needs to go back to elementary basics! It was "Tonto" a Native American who spiritually was devoted to the cause of Justice and stood by his side. As all Native Americans, the Nationally labeled Mexicans are Native Americans, and were here long before the "Lone Ranger" came to right wrongs. I'm Chippewa--A Native American Card carrying Indian, and the Native peoples of the Nation called Mexico are my brothers and sisters in spirit. What about the so called immigration law that is creating wrongs "Lone Ranger"? What about your spirit? Have you forgotten "Chuck Norris" that your spirit was once of light, and that many Native Americans believed in you because of your Spirit? Chippewa Nation
