Holder Is 'Sept. 10' Pick for AG

Conservative mag urges GOP to vote against Obama's Justice nominee

(Newser) – Eric Holder is “a conventional, check-the-boxes creature of the Left,” the editors of the National Review write of Barack Obama’s reported choice for Attorney General, and his selection reveals a “September 10 mentality” and a “lack of seriousness about the terrorist threat.” They add, “for these times, it is difficult to imagine a worse choice for AG than Eric Holder.”

The Review is most steamed about Holder’s role in “the final corrupt act of the Clinton administration: the pardons issued in the departing President’s final hours,” including that of financier Marc Rich. “To be blunt,” they conclude, “Holder is a terrible selection. If there’s any Obama cabinet nomination that Republicans feel moved to oppose, this should be it.”

Well for those who want to make it a black or white issue, the Sept11 mentality isnt cutting it for most Americans, so lets damn well try something else Reply

Typical R . There is a boogy man around every corner . If you don't do as I say you are un- American . Save the crap we were bushitted way to many times over the last 8. Take your ball and go home and cry on your stack of money . Oh, and get a new Flag , the one you have been draped over so many lies and trash , have some respect for our country (for a change)Burn it . If Sept. 11 is so important to the review where was the press on WMD's,The Saudis did it not Sadam.The Attrny Genral Lies, sorry I dont want to kill my computer with all the N.R.did not say. Reply
