Singer says rumors are false, but turns down bubbly on Ellen

(Newser) – Mariah Carey’s not pregnant, she just doesn’t believe in drinking before 3pm—or so she says, People reports. The singer repeatedly shot down questions about pregnancy on Ellen today, but refused to take a sip of champagne when the host offered it, calling it "fattening." “You’re pregnant!” Ellen DeGeneres declared, but Carey insisted, “I didn’t say that. No, no, no,” and added it was too early to drink.
