(Newser) – Black Friday bargain hunters trampled an employee to death this morning at a Long Island Wal-Mart, the New York Daily News reports. Another woman had a miscarriage in the stampede. The unidentified employee had been trying to hold the unruly crowd back, but the crowd knocked him down and ran over him, eyewitnesses say. Police are investigating.

“He was bum-rushed by 200 people,” said a co-worker. “They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me.”  A few feet away, a shopper saw a woman knocked to the ground, and heard her tell paramedics she was pregnant. “There’s nothing we can do,” they said. “The baby is gone.” Police soon shut down the store.

It seems that we are devolving as human beings, we’ve turned into savages. These manslaughters that trampled over this man, killing him didn’t care about a person but rather how they could save money on materialistic items. What if this person was an uncle, cousin, father, brother to one these savage beast that killed him? Would they want the same disregard happen to their own family members? Shame what this world has come to.
