Mom Gives Hills Marriage '6 Months'

'It's the biggest mistake Heidi's ever made,' says Mom

(Newser) – Heidi Montag’s mother gives her daughter’s marriage to fellow Hills star Spencer Pratt “six months,” saying she is devastated to lose her daughter to the “manipulative” Pratt, US Magazine reports. Darlene Egelhoff says that she suspects her daughter was drugged by Pratt during their elopement in Mexico, for which she skipped Thanksgiving with her family.

"I want the best for my daughter,” says Egelhoff, “and he's definitely not it. I think Spencer wants to possess Heidi more than marry her. It's the biggest mistake Heidi's ever made." Heidi has responded that her mother wasn’t invited to the marriage because she starts “so much drama.” Chimed in Pratt: "I think her mom needs to take a real fat chill pill and be happy for her daughter."

Wait-a-minute... the mom says that her daughter was drugged? The ENTIRE time she was in Mexico for an elopement AND through Thanksgiving? Or how about the daughter just being fed up with mom and making a conscious choice to stay away? Which one is closer to reality? Best of luck to them if they are truly in love (which I hope for). Sounds like mom still wants to run her daughter's life and can't stand it when the girl shows that she wants to grow up and do her own thing.
