Jealousy Blamed in Hudson Murders

Suspect upset that estranged wife dating: prosecutors

(Newser) – Prosecutors have pinned a motive on Jennifer Hudson's brother-in-law, alleging today that he killed her family members out of anger that his estranged wife was dating someone else, reports the AP. William Balfour—who has been charged with the murders of Hudson's mother, brother, and nephew—confronted Julia Hudson at the family home the morning of the slayings. The couple left the home together, then he returned alone, prosecutors say.

The legal brief says Balfour, 27, re-entered the home, fatally shot Hudson's mother in the living room, then her brother while he was in bed. Balfour then allegedly forced Hudson's nephew into an SUV. "Defendant shot Julian King in the head while the 7-year-old was laying behind the front seat of the Suburban."

Send him to Afganistan if he's guilty.Just drop him off on the Pakistan border and let him kill whoever he wants while he's alive and that won't be long. Reply

this is such a tragedy.i believe this guy is gulity.just the facts show so far point to this guy.how sad..what a horrible person..how could anyone kill another person ..let alone a 7 year old boy..that is the lowest of the low..my heart goes out to jennifer and her family Reply
