(AP) - Aretha Franklin won't be getting fitted for a wedding gown after all: She's called off her engagement . A statement released yesterday by her rep said Franklin's wedding to Willie Wilkerson wasn't going to happen. "Will and I have decided we were moving a little too fast, and there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly. There will be no wedding at this time," Franklin said. "We will not comment on it any further because of the very personal and sensitive nature of it. We appreciate all of the many well wishes from friends." More»

(NEWSER) - Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are on a post-wedding media blitz, which so far is playing out just as one would expect. Four signs the couple is getting even more ridiculous :

• They've already renewed their vows: Yes, a mere six weeks after getting hitched , Kim and Kris apparently felt the need to re-pledge their eternal love to one another, this time in front of a national audience on the Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday. Couple is 'thrilled' at new addition

(NEWSER) - Baby No. 3 is on the way for Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, the couple announced yesterday. The two 39-year-olds, who wed in 2005, are already parents to Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2, the AP notes. In a statement, they said they are “thrilled” to be welcoming a new member of the family. (NEWSER) - Unless you spent the weekend under a rock, you are probably aware that Kim Kardashian is now married (and $17.9 million richer ). And if you were annoyed by her wedding extravaganza, well, you weren’t the only one: Several neighbors got fed up with the noise from the 460 guests around 11:30pm and called the cops, TMZ reports. Four celebrities tied the knot ... and one got engaged, too

(NEWSER) - Apparently love was in the air this weekend as at least four celebrities got married and another got engaged:

• Tara Reid had a whirlwind wedding weekend in Greece, People reports. She breathlessly tweeted her engagement Saturday, then just hours later tweeted that she got married. (Click to see her massive ring .) Even weirder: People initially reported the lucky guy was her (apparently ex) boyfriend Danish businessman Michael Lilleund but, Gawker notes, he denied it and Reid explained that she actually married Zack Kehayov.
• Another surprise wedding: Joy Behar, who married her boyfriend of 29 years, Steve Janowitz, in New York Thursday. Behar had sworn off marriage in the past and even broke one engagement to Janowitz, notes the Huffington Post .
