(Newser) – Tom Cruise stalked Marlin Brando. Katie Holmes vogued like Madonna. The celebrity couple shares a few anecdotes—and thoughts about acting, parenthood, and the paparazzi—in separate interviews with the New York Times T Magazine. Cruise also reflects on his fame, his “perfect” image, and the fear of losing it all. Holmes, currently starring on Broadway, cops to playing with Barbies a little too long.

“Whatever the perception is of me, that’s not my reality,” Cruise says. “I see myself as a father, a husband, an actor. Every day I make the choice to engage in life.” Holmes feels equally misconstrued. “There’s a misperception about me that I just became this wallflower, this woman who doesn’t have any control of her life,” she says. “And that’s pretty wrong.”

Good grief!! I can't believe I am commenting on comments from a couple of self centered people who feel that they have to say something for the sake of saying something. Apparently Entertainment Tonight didn't have space for their drivle and the New York Times felt the need to give them some space. If the paparazi was "infringing" on their privacy for comments, they would be whinning. Hasn't anyone been giving them any attention lately? SHEESH!
