The list of Golden Globe nominations is an interesting one, in part for what’s not on it, CNN reports. Heath Ledger’s turn as the Joker earned a best supporting actor nomination, but that was the lone nod for The Dark Knight, the year’s top-grossing film. Meanwhile, Doubt earned acting nominations for all four of its stars yet couldn’t snag a best drama nod. Nor could Milk, although Sean Penn is up for best actor.

Both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie scored best acting nominations, and the Pitt vehicle The Curious Case of Benjamin Button tied Doubt and Frost/Nixon for the most nods overall. The usual suspects dominated the TV categories, with 30 Rock earning nominations for best comedy, best actor (Alec Baldwin), and best actress (creator Tina Fey).
