After searching the home of Caylee Anthony’s grandparents last night, investigators say they “absolutely” found something of interest, CNN reports. The medical examiner linked the remains of a young child found yesterday in the area to the house where the 3-year-old lived with her grandparents and her mom, prompting authorities to search the home, AP reports.

The remains, found in a plastic bag on a wooded lot less than a half-mile from the house, have not been confirmed to be Caylee's. But asked if he believed the missing tot had been found, the sheriff said, “My gut says yes.” DNA analysis could take 7 to 14 days, but if the body is confirmed to be that of the missing child, legal experts say prosecutors should be able to convict mother Casey Anthony.
