(Newser) – The White House released its final “Barney Cam” Christmas video today, continuing the adventures of the first dog, the AP reports. This year, the Bushes’ terrier dreams of representing America as an Olympic pole-vaulter and swimmer before clinching a US victory in the Ryder Cup. After waking, Barney decks the White House in Christmas decorations to praise from Olympians Michael Phelps and Nastia Liukin.

“I’m glad the decorations are finally coming together and you’re using my favorite color, gold,” Phelps tells Barney, who’s appeared in the annual video since 2002 and added to his YouTube oeuvre recently by biting a reporter.
