Disgraced gov turns out for Slate party at former massage parlor

(Newser) – If Eliot Spitzer could have picked a place to reenter society, he probably wouldn’t have picked a former Chinatown massage parlor called “Happy Ending,” muses John Gapper of the Financial Times. But that’s where Slate was holding its winter party, and so there the online mag’s newest writer went to socialize. Gapper asked him how he liked life as a columnist. “It sucks,” Spitzer cheerfully replied. “I used to be governor of New York.”
