Bush: 'I Never Sold My Soul'

Says he knows he's unpopular

(Newser) – President Bush knows he doesn't have a lot of fans, but is proud that he didn't "compromise my soul to be a popular guy," he tells Fox News. It's particularly tough to like him given the current economic situation, he concedes. "What do you expect? We've got a major economic problem and I'm the president during the major economic problem," he said. "Do people approve of the economy? No. I don't approve of the economy."

But even though he's a "free-market guy," the president said he's "not going to let this economy crater to preserve the free market system." His administration is still looking at ways to aid automakers. All in all, he's had a lot on his plate, Bush explained. "I've been a wartime president. I've dealt with two recessions," he said. "I've had, hell, a lot of serious challenges."

I'm a free market guy, but I'm not going to let this economy crater in order to preserve the free market system. So we made a lot of very strong moves and it's been painful for a lot of people. - President Bush.

He did'nt sell his soul, he sold everyone elses. Including over 5,000 American lives who have died fighting a war that he lied to us about. Anyone who even remotely deffends this murder needs to remove his head from his ass.

Don't you worry about how other people think or feel it's not your dam business. If you must feel sorry for the Bush then that's your choice!!
