The parents of missing toddler Maddy McCann have released heartbreaking new footage of their daughter in a new plea to the public to help in the search for her, reports the Independent. The scenes reveal a fun-loving, spunky kid playing with her siblings, showing off new pink shoes and donning a ballerina outfit with wings. "Christmas is a time for children. Please help bring our daughter back," says the plea at the end of the tape, and adds a phone number to call with information.

Maddy was nearly four when she vanished from her family's holiday apartment in Portugal last year while her parents were dining out with friends. Most of the scenes in the new video were shot during Christmas 2006, the last holiday the family had with Maddy. It's the first time the public has heard her voice. She tells her twin baby brother and sister: "Clap you hands, one, two, three," and proudly tells her dad "pink!" when he asks what color her shoes are.
