23% Dub Cheney 'Worst VP Ever'

But Cheney still has support in GOP

(Newser) – Dick Cheney is arguably the most powerful vice president in history, but one American in four say he's also the worst in history, according to a CNN/Opinion Research Corp survey. Of those polled, 23% rate Cheney's job performance as the worst ever, with another 41% rating him poor. That still leaves 34% of voters pleased with the VP.

Cheney has boasted he's impervious to polls. "I'm very comfortable with where we are and what we achieved substantively," Cheney said. "And frankly, I would not want to be one of those guys who spends all his time reading the polls. I think people like that shouldn't serve in these jobs."

What a bunch of BS coming out of Cheney's mouth as always.And frankly..he is lying if he tries to say..he didnt spend time reading the polls...I bet his nose was glued to the poll results when Bush was in the running. Reply

He is the WORST VP we have ever had. He is a war monger and he doesn't seem to care how many of our boys and girls have died over his and Bush's stupid war. Reply

I read a brilliant book called 'Vice' (can't recall the author's name though) and he's just a megalomaniac with a very, very, very insecure and stubborn approach. The two pages on his wife Lynne Cheney is worth the price of the book, or time to get it from the library. She's one wicked political player - nearly as good as her husband - if she weren't such a coward she's run for office - though just like Cheney's attempts in the 90s for Oval Office the testing and polling came back a negative like his ratings now way less than 40%.
