Cops: SF Bay Lesbian Gang-Raped in Hate Crime
Four suspects in the gang rape of a lesbian are being sought on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, kidnapping, carjacking and sexual assault.   (Shutter Stock)

Bay Area police are treating the brutal gang rape of a lesbian as a hate crime, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. The victim, who displayed a gay pride sticker on her license plate, was kidnapped, gang-raped and dumped naked by four men who taunted about her sexual orientation. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the attackers' arrest.

"The emotional impact has changed her life," a police lieutenant said of the 28-year-old woman. "It is an absolute nightmare for her to have gone through. For 45 minutes, four strangers brutalized her." (More rape stories.)
