Police searching Plaxico Burress’s New Jersey house found a 9mm handgun, a loaded rifle, and the bloody clothes the New York Giants receiver wore when he accidentally shot himself in the thigh at a Manhattan night club Nov. 29, sources told Fox affiliate WNYW-TV. The gun used in the shooting was recovered in a previous search, the Post adds.

Burress, who was charged with weapons possession Dec. 1, is suspended from play for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs for  “conduct detrimental to the team for multiple and repeated violations of club rules.” Teammate Antonio Pierce, who was present at the incident, is cooperating with authorities.
