Israel Bombs Gaza Supply Tunnels

(Newser) – As Gaza air strikes raged on for a second day, Israel said it bombed more than 40 Palestinian supply tunnels used to transport weapons, BBC reports. Palestine said one tunnel intended to carry fuel from Egypt to Gaza had been destroyed. Fleeing the southern strip into Egypt, hundreds of Palestinians were forced back by Egyptian security forces who opened fire.

Threatening to add a ground attack to jet bombings, Israel has called up 6,500 army reserves today, pledging to continue its offensive until Israelis in the south can "no longer live in terror and in fear of constant rocket barrages."

Right on! Anyone would get tired of the abuse. They just won't leave Israel alone. Next, they will start crying about what a big bully Israel is.

I can't blame Israel for her actions. Hamas has brought suffering to all... I know there has to be a better way - it'll be up to Hamas to choose what that will be. Israel has the right to protect itself.
