A Maine man has been charged with drunken driving after police found him, intoxicated, atop an idling Zamboni ice-resurfacer, the Portland Press Herald reports. The man was found inside a building that appeared to have been burglarized and damaged; he was also charged with criminal mischief, burglary, and a bail violation. Police responded to the scene when the fire alarm sounded, apparently because someone driving a forklift ruptured a sprinkler line. (More Maine stories.)
