Campaign celeb tries war journalism for conservative website

(Newser) – Perhaps in an effort to ditch his infamous moniker, Joe the Plumber is swapping plunger for pen. The Ohio businessman, the presidential election’s "average American," will spend 10 days near Gaza covering Israel’s perspective on the conflict for pjtv.com, Internet arm of conservative Pajamas Media. “God’s not going to stop a mortar for me, but you gotta take the chance,” he tells Toledo’s WNWO-TV.

I don't get it, is he a journalist or a plumber.....kinda like that dork Sean Penn, no wait...he can't act and he sucks a being a journalist....sorry Joe, but I think you are getting into a pool of sharks as a pawn...(and I actually like the guy)...but he is just being pimped out like Chelsea Clinton at a fund raiser for "I dodged bosnian niper fire" mom...all in all not a good thing, unless I get suprised...but I doubt it

I love it, people like this scare the liberals to death because it's a premonition of things to come, we just have to make it through the next 4 years without worldwide disaster caused by a Clinton 2.0 White House.

(AP) - Gaza militants agreed to a cease-fire with Israel to stop spiking violence, a Hamas official said today, after a deadly attack across the Egyptian border on Israeli vehicles set off a three-day round of rapidly escalating Israeli airstrikes and rocket barrages from Gaza. The sudden flareup also threatened Israel-Egypt relations, after three Egyptian police were killed as the cross-border clash developed Thursday.
