Chicago cops are hunting gunmen who shot five people outside a South Side high school, reports the Chicago Tribune. The attackers opened fire from an SUV last night as a basketball game at Dunbar High School was ending. Witnesses say the gunmen pretended to fire before shooting into a crowd of students. Police believe the attack was gang-related.

"The people who got shot, they were just lying on the ground," said one 16-year-old who saw two victims shot in the legs. The shooting victims, all male teenagers, are being treated in area hospitals. None are believed to be students at Dunbar, alma mater of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson. A teenage girl injured in a fall as the panicked crowd fled the scene has also been hospitalized.
