(Newser) – Bleeping out cuss words is all but mundane for radio stations, but Britney Spears' third Circus single, If U Seek Amy, (say it fast, boys and girls) has them a bit perplexed on how to censor. Nice try, Brit, but most DJs won't be allowed to play it, MTV reports.

"We have a responsibility to the public ... you put this out and act like we're all fuddy-duddies, like we're trying to make moral judgments. It's not about us," says the director of a Cincinnati station. "It's about the mom in the minivan with her 8-year-old."

I was born in '67, but I loved April Wine anyway. Played the heck out of them in college.

Funny, we can have songs about going to Rehab, but not a song that is about LOOKING FOR AMY. I think that some parents are more immature than their children. Besides, creating this kind of fuss only adds more power to the 'naughty' word. its amusingly ironic.
