When France's glamorous justice minister, Rachida Dati, gave birth to a baby girl this month, gossipmongers returned to a burning question: Who's the father? Speculation has centered on everyone from Spain's prime minister to Dati's boss, Nicolas Sarkozy. "He's a playboy extraordinaire," an insider says of Pinault, 43. "He is a fils a papa, as they say here—a papa's boy, meaning he'd be nobody if he weren't the son of Francois Pinault. He isn't known to be the brightest star in the sky." (More France stories.)
