(Newser) – Man’s best friend has an enemy in Soledad O’Brien, the New York Post reports. The CNN correspondent and other members of her building’s co-op board are trying to evict a family from their Manhattan loft because of their pooch. “She told me at a shareholder’s meeting that my dog stinks,” said Steven Lyons, owner of Ugo, a 150-pound mastiff.

In a 20-page affidavit, O’Brien, the board’s secretary, complained about Ugo’s “size, slobbery, shedding, drooling, gassiness, and odors.” Lyons said neighbors welcomed him, his wife, and three children when they bought their $3 million, 4,000-square-foot loft in 2003, but that changed when they got Ugo 2 years ago. O’Brien’s “behavior has been particularly outrageous,” said Lyons, whose wife added, “She did get in my face.”

Oh Soledad, get real. If I had bought a 3 million dollar home, I would have my pets whether you liked it or not.
