Disgraced evangelical pastor Ted Haggard has confessed to another "compulsive" relationship, this one with a young male volunteer in his former church. "I felt like God's plan was for sexuality to be in a monogamous, heterosexual marriage. But I had these other things going on," Haggard told Larry King yesterday. The church volunteer said Haggard's actions in 2006 made him feel "really uncomfortable" and drove him to drink.

Haggard, who often railed against homosexuality in his sermons, "used to say to me, 'You know, you can become a man of God, and you can have a little bit of fun on the side,'" the man told CNN. Haggard's public troubles first emerged in 2006 when a male prostitute revealed a three-year affair with the married pastor. Haggard said his therapist has described him as a "heterosexual with complications."
