Drew Peterson: I Wouldn't Trust Me, Either

Murder suspect says he understands fears of fiancée's family

Drew Peterson, divorced from wives No. 1 and 2 and suspected of killing wives No. 3 and 4, understands why the family of would-be wife No. 5 is none too pleased with their engagement, ABC reports. “I would have concerns if I were the friends and family of this young girl,” Peterson, 55, told Nightline, referring to 23-year-old fiancée Christina Raines.

Peterson plans to marry the waitress this year though he has not divorced missing wife Stacy; Raines and her two children moved in with Peterson and his four kids this month. His fiancée, at least, is in Peterson’s corner: “She says, ‘You treat me so good, there’s no way that you could’ve been involved in anything like this,'" the former cop said.
