(Newser) – Christian Bale's sister found his profanity-riddled tantrum on a movie set disturbing, and believes the actor "needs help," reports the Telegraph. "It's terribly sad," said Bale's sister, Sharon. "He seems to be incredibly stressed and angry at the moment." Bale was arrested last year after allegedly assaulting his sister and mother. He has apologized for his "potty mouth" meltdown during filming of Terminator Salvation.

"As a mental health professional, this behavior suggests a mental health problem that might benefit from Lithium or Depakote. Looks like he's trying to get even with the ghosts (parents/care givers/offenders) from his childhood. The right medication will help in the beginning, (in the long run, it will help the people around him more than it will help him) but he needs to work on the real reasons why he's so angry. Under that anger is a enormous amount of pain.
