Alaska AG, Troopergate Fixture, Resigns

Share

(AP) – Alaska Attorney General Talis Colberg, a key figure in the Troopergate scandal that dogged Sarah Palin's vice presidential bid, has resigned "in the best interest" of the state, Palin's office said in a statement today. Colberg represented seven of the state employees subpoenaed as a result of the abuse-of-power scandal, and has been criticized by the Alaska House Judiciary Committee for his role in the case.

"Alaska Attorney General Talis Colberg, a key figure in the Troopergate scandal has resigned "in the best interest" of the state," Hello, Sarah Palin! Why not follow his lead, and do what's best for the state? Fat chance of that happening. Reply
