Madonna Converts Jesus

Singer's young paramour turns to Kabbalah

(Newser) – Madonna boytoy Jesus Luz, once a strict Catholic, is converting to Judaism. The Brazilian model, currently bewitched by the Kabbalah-practicing Material Girl, joined an online Kabbalah community and updated his website to reflect the change, the Mirror reports. But his “family are very traditional and quite religious so this news is sure to come as something of a shock,” a source says.

Why the dramatic change? “Jesus is totally taken with Madonna and is slightly in awe of her,” the source says of the 22-year-old. “Quite simply he can't get enough, and finds her utterly compelling.” There’s at least one other person who might feel similarly—the anonymous buyer who recently bought a 1979 nude photo of Madonna for $37,500, BBC reports.
