Rihanna's father says she has suffered "some bruising" but is recovering well in Barbados, People reports. "At some point, she will speak out," said Ronald Fenty, 55. "I hope she will stand up for women all over the world." Fenty wouldn't tell her to leave boyfriend Chris Brown, who allegedly attacked her last weekend, but "if it were me, I'd move on."
"You think you know somebody," he said of Brown, "but you really don't." But what to believe? After the People report surfaced, Fenty contradicted it. "I haven't seen her," he told Us Weekly. "I haven't seen her bruises." He also refused to reveal whether she was in Barbados. No explanation was given for the discrepancies.
