Wife Admits Exercising Husband, 73, to Death

An Ohio woman has pleaded guilty to reckless homicide after exercising her 73-year-old husband to death in a swimming pool and refusing to let him leave the water, reports AP. The husband rested his head on the side of the pool several times while gasping for breath when the wife prevented him from leaving the water 43 times, according to the local police chief.

The man suffered a heart attack after the extended swim session. "The video is bone-chilling," he said. "The whole case is very sinister." Police did not speculate about a motive. No sentencing date has been set. (More crime stories.)
