'Clueless' Chris Brown's Spin Doctor Will Win Him No Points

Paris Hilton's flack is 'universally disliked'

Share

(Newser) – It’s not surprising that “19 and clueless” Chris Brown needs help doing damage control, but the PR flack he hired to disentangle him from his domestic violence mess will “win Brown no points in public,” writes Roger Friedman for Fox News. Mike Sitrick, Paris Hilton’s spin doctor, “is universally disliked by the press,” and on top of that, the first statement he issued for Brown “is pretty lame.”

Instead of, say, mentioning Rihanna’s name even one time, the statement takes the offensive, accusing the press and bloggers of making things up. “But that’s Sitrick’s way,” Friedman writes, speculating that this may be the best Brown can do: At least one agency “turned him down cold,” and “there were probably others.” The reviled Sitrick may just be “the only flack who would take Brown’s money.”

How do you put "spin" on domestic violence? He's an abuser plain and simple. Reply

Herpes? Unless you gave it to jay-z, what do you know? That's beside the point. A real man wouldn't raise his hand to a woman Reply

I agree that a man should not raise his hands to a woman, however if you are being struck by anyone, and in this case, an enclosed area without access of rapidly leaving the area, you have the right to defend yourself. And I know several women who can knock out a full grown man, so until you have the facts, don't judge

I heard his father in an interview last week. He was asked if he ever hit his son. He said once when he was 11, that was the first time I hit him in 6 years. No brains and the ability to beat the helpless. He trained his son well. Both men (?) should spend some time with bigger men...not with women and 5 year olds. Reply
