The audience at Friday night's Paul Simon show in New York got a taste of what's to come when Art Garfunkel joined his long-time collaborator on stage for three songs: The two today announced a new tour, inspired, said Garfunkel, by the “knockout” reaction to that concert.

"I said to the audience, 'you don't have a right to expect—and we didn't expect—that the interest in us would last and you would still care right to today and I'm touched,'" he told the BBC. No news yet on potential US dates. (More Art Garfunkel stories.)
