(Newser) – Just five days after Caylee Anthony was last seen alive, her mother described herself as “the happiest that I have been in a very long time,” People reports. The sentiment comes from Casey Anthony’s June 21 diary entry, which also reads, “I have no regrets, just a bit worried. I completely trust my own judgment. I know that I made the right decision. I just hope that the end justifies the means.”

If prosecutors can prove Casey wrote this on June 21, 2008, it is significant. If not, it is worthless as evidence in this case, IMO.

Reader, you have every right to be skeptical of law enforcement leaks and media sensationalizing a case and convicting someone in the media even before a trial (re: John & Patsy Ramsey, Klaus Von Buloh, a host of other innocents), but this lady writes 5 days after her daughter has gone missing, that she is happier than she has ever been. This b!tch is COLD.

why would she say that she hopes 'the end justifies the means' about breaking up with a boyfriend? who talks like that? and why would she be 'worried' about breaking up with whoever it is you're referring to? come on, i understand that you don't like when the media twists information, but it's not like people weren't already a little suspicious of her.
