Nicolas Sarkozy will set aside French-US tensions when he visits New Hampshire on vacation this month. And the town of Wolfeboro already knows how to handle high-profile politicians: Mitt Romney is a homeowner.

Sarkozy is reportedly renting from a Microsoft exec, and neighbors have recently seen security boats casing the lakefront. Local merchants predict a warm welcome: A bookstore offers an assortment of French cheeses if the visitor gets homesick, and, says the store owner, "No one changed the name of the French fries on the menus up here."
