(Newser) – Conan O'Brien will be back together with longtime Late Night sidekick Andy Richter when he takes the reins of the Tonight Show this summer, E! Online reports. Richter, who first teamed up with O'Brien in 1993, will be more than a wingman this time around—he will be the show's official voice as well as appearing in comedy skits.

"I'm looking forward to working with Andy on a daily basis again, particularly since he owes me $300," quipped O'Brien.

Andy is one of the funniest people I know, and we've maintained a close friendship since he left Late Night. We have a proven chemistry that will be an incredible asset to The Tonight Show.

I'm almost certain that the quote show is what a Public Relations person made up for Conan instead of him actually saying it and someone recording it.
