(Newser) – Jimmy Fallon’s late-night hosting debut might not have drawn much critical buzz, but it did draw enough curious viewers to give NBC its highest ratings in the time slot in 3 years, the Hollywood Reporter notes. The 2.3 rating—equivalent to about 2.6 million households—bested Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Kimmel's debuts, and is 35% higher than predecessor Conan O’Brien's average this season.
