This Bachelor Jerk Is Hard to Hate

He may have dumped his fiance, but he's a real guy: Kaufman

(Newser) – Jason Mesnick, the 32-year-old Bachelor star who publicly dumped his fiance of 6 weeks for the show's runner-up, is a jerk, but he's hard to hate, Amy Kaufman writes in The Wrap. "He's a total dime piece: tan, crisply ironed blue button-downs and a winning grin," she says. "Everything in his nature seemed to reject the inherent bullsh--t the show brings along with it. He always wore jeans with his highfalutin' blazers."

That was true until a post-finale reunion show, where Mesnick made out with sexy runner-up Molly seconds after taking the ring off finalist Melissa's finger. "By the time she met Jason on her final date and proceeded to straddle him on a massage table, I knew she had sealed the deal," Kaufman continues. "Because how many guys ever choose the doting, sweet girl over the sultry, false one?"
