Colombo's train station hit on eve of independence celebration

Attackers fire on worshipers before blowing themselves up

(AP) - At least 35 people were killed when two suicide bombers stormed a mosque near Pakistan's army headquarters today.They opened fire on worshipers and threw grenades before blowing themselves up in a heavily fortified area, the AP reports. Tamil Tigers believed behind attack at marathon

(NEWSER) - The Sri Lankan highway minister and at least 11 others gathered for a marathon were killed today by a suicide bomber believed to be a member of the Tamil Tigers rebel group.
