(Newser) – Celebrities are known for insuring their most famous body parts, but now other types are getting into the practice. This week, a coffee taster’s tongue was insured for $13.8 million, making it the most valuable in the world. To mark the occasion, the Mirror lists some of the craziest policies:

  • Coffee tasters aren’t the only ones who need their tongues. Kiss’ Gene Simmons insured his for $1 million.

  • Rod Stewart and Bruce Springsteen insured their famous voices, for $6 million and $4.8 million respectively.
  • Some of the insured body parts are a bit more intimate: Dolly Parton’s breasts are covered at more than $11,000 per inch, and a British stripper insured his penis for $1.7 million.
  • Other insured areas are a little unusual, like Tom Jones’ chest hair ($5.1 million) or a cricket player’s trademark mustache ($277,000).
