Candidates Face Liberal Bloggers

(Newser) – Political campaigning took another step into the blogosphere today as Democratic presidential hopefuls vied for the support of the netroots community at the Yearly Kos convention in Chicago. Seven of the eight candidates answered sometimes-testy questions from what the AP called "powerful and polarizing liberal bloggers."

Hillary Clinton was warmly received, despite the drubbing she got the convention's opening night, when it was learned that she might pass up the individual sessions after the panel. Today she drew laughter when she acknowledged her tepid reviews from the Daily Kos bloggers. "I appreciate what you're doing," she said. Then she added: Not everything. Enough." Still, the AP reports, wrist bands admitting people to Obama's breakout session moved a lot faster than Clinton's.
