Rumor has it Brown and Tina Davis, 40, had a relationship when Brown was 16, though both have denied it. The message talked about plans for a later hookup, law enforcement told TMZ, leading Rihanna to hit Brown and him to assault her.

The detective’s affidavit in the case says the text was “from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.”
