Candidate optimistic in meeting with Democratic senators

(Newser) – Al Franken sees “a light at the end of the tunnel” in the legal dispute between him and Republican Norm Coleman over a Minnesota Senate seat, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports. Franken expects to win the current election trial, but believes Coleman will appeal to the Minnesota Supreme Court. Franken and Democratic senators said today there were no plans to attempt to seat him while proceedings continue.

Um, he's currently ahead by 225 votes. Perhaps you should look up the word "Election" in the dictionary.

I'm sorry but I just don't buy into the whole "oops we left ballots in the back of our trunk and they're all for franken" story. Perhaps you should look up "gullible" and "smart ass" next time you think that "look up " jokes are witty.
